COVID Protocols

  • Parents attending are to wear a mask and spectate in a socially distanced manner.
  • ensure all coaches and runners complete Covid Daily Checklist before attending meet.
  • Ensure athletes wear a mask at all times when not running (e.g., walking course, waiting to run, etc.).
  • Ensure athletes wear a mask to the start line. Starter will initiate start protocol by asking runners who want to, to remove their mask before the commands of, “on your mark, get set, go.”

F.E. Osborne Eagles compete in a variety of sports with other schools in Calgary (and on occasion from outside of Calgary).

$30 to cover the cost of training supplies, uniform rental, windup party and the cost of referees.
$10 to cover the cost of tournaments

Cross Country
(Distance Running)

September –  Mid October

- 4 age classifications based on year of birth for both boys and girls

- no cut policy

$ 15 to cover the cost of the uniform rental, team photo and windup party.

Total fee:  $15
Volleyball

September –end November

- Sr. Boys and Sr. Girls

    grade 9's

- Jr. Boys and Jr. Girls

   grade 6.7.and 8

$60 to cover the cost of training supplies, tournament fees, windup party, uniform rental, photos and the cost of referees.

$60 to cover the cost of tournaments.

Total fee:  $120

Basketball

January - until Mid- March. 

- Sr. Boys and Sr. Girls - grade 9's

- Jr. Boys and Jr. Girls  -  grade 6, 7 and 8

$60 to cover the cost of training supplies, tournament fees, uniform rental, photos, windup party, and the cost of referees.

$60 to cover the cost of tournaments.

Total Fee:  $120

Badminton

March - April

Senior - grade 9

Intermediate – grade 8

Junior - grade 6 +7

$10 to cover the cost of badminton birds and windup party.

Track & Field

April - May

grade classifications for all students grades 6-9

We try to include everyone who shows an interest in competing.

$10 to cover the cost of Athletic Facility Rental, Sydex system, and first aid person on site.

Uniforms

 If a coach has provided a school uniform to a student athlete, the student athlete must return the uniform at the end of the season. The uniform should be returned in a state similar to the beginning of the season. Lost or damaged uniforms will result in a $100 replacement fee. 

Uniforms are provided for the following teams:  

  • Cross Country
  • Soccer
  • Volleyball
  • Basketball
  • Track and Field (for some athletes)
