Lunch Supervision
The Lunch Supervision program requires registration and is available to all students in Grades 1-6. There is a fee to participate, and a waiver process is in place for families who cannot afford to pay fees.
Our Lunchroom
Students eating lunch at school are supervised for the duration of the lunch hour from 12:00 – 1:00 PM.
Please remember to pack all utensils needed to eat lunch.
Allergies
There are a number of students at our school are deathly allergic to nuts, including peanuts. These children have been trained to avoid foods, which may have been contaminated by peanut oils, peanut butter and nuts. For more details on allergies please visit our Illness & Medical page.
We are a Nut Free School
We ask all parents to assist by avoiding the use of nuts and peanuts in foods and crafts sent to school, and ensuring that trading or sharing of food does not occur. For more details on allergies please visit our Illness & Medical page.
Fun Lunches
The Fish Creek School Parent Association and/or School Council is happy to be holding fun lunches again this year through Healthy Hunger. Healthy Hunger is a secure website where parents can order fun lunches for their child.
The Site Offers
- online payment through credit or debit
- email reminders of upcoming lunches
- the ability to pay for multiple children at once
- the ability to order ahead for the entire school year
How to Register
You can register your child in Healthy Hunger and when you go through the prompts select Fish Creek School and your child’s teacher. If you have used Healthy Hunger in the past your login information is the same, but you will need to start the process for your child fresh for this year. If you sign on for all the lunches you want, you will only have to pay the processing fee one time as opposed to paying it for each lunch.
Fun Lunch Dates
Our Fun Lunch dates have been set for the year. You can find them in our calendar or in Healthy Hunger.
Deadline: The deadline to order any Fun Lunch is by midnight on the Friday PRIOR to the fun lunch date. You can also order for the entire year at one time and this option will also save you money on the process fee that is charged.
