Students in the Calgary Board of Education travel to school in a variety of ways, including walking, taking yellow buses or Calgary Transit or being driven by parents/guardians. Their safety is important, no matter how they get to school and home again.

Getting to School

Before and After School Care

After a lengthy and thorough process, we are pleased to announce that we have selected 1st Class After Class as our Before and After School Care provider for the 2017-2018 school year.

Throughout the year, we have heard from our families that this service would be appreciated and beneficial to the community, and we know that you will be impressed with Anita Barron and her staff with 1st Class After Class. The program was selected based on the strength of commitment to outdoor play, collaboration, and incorporation of student and parent feedback.

We are currently anticipating that 1st Class After Class will begin at Fish Creek with a “soft opening” beginning May 1, 2017, and they will be based out of the Fish Creek School gym and multi-purpose area. A parent survey will be sent out to all parents who have signed on to receive commercial email from the school and registration will begin on Jan. 16, 2017.

We ask that you direct any questions you might have to Anita via phone 587-432-0123 or email info@firstclasspreschool.com. Information is also available on their website www.1stclasspreschool.com.

Note: The CBE does not operate before and after school (out of school) programs.
