Health & Wellness at the CBE

At the CBE, we believe in a whole school approach to health and wellness. We call this our Comprehensive School Health (CSH) approach. CSH is about healthy eating, active living, supportive social environments and positive mental health. As a system, we focus on the following four areas: healthy eating; healthy relationships; physical activity; and positive mental health. Each school creates its own approach and goals for health and wellness.

Health & Wellness

FLHS Wellness Centre

The Wellness Centre at Forest Lawn High School began in the early nineties through a group of dedicated staff, administration, and community partners. Today, more than 35 agencies work in and through Forest Lawn High School to support students and families.

What is Wellness?

The wellness wheel below shows the 7 intersecting dimensions of wellness.  For each of the seven dimensions:  Physical, Emotional, Financial, Environmental, Spiritual, Career & Academic, and Social & Cultural, we have agencies and services to support this aspect.
