Please visit our COVID-19 page for the most up-to-date information. Our plan is subject to change throughout the school year as more information becomes available.

One of the most important ways parents/guardians and community members can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on the school council. Under the School Act, a school council is a collective association designed to advise the principal and the CBE Board of Trustees on matters related to the school. School councils have legislated advisory and decision-making authority. They are different from Parent Societies & Associations, whose main function is to raise funds for the school. You can find more details in the CBE School Council Handbook.

Parent Council Meeting & AGM - October 20 @ 6:30 PM

Hello everyone; I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. I wanted to send out a reminder of our Parent Council meeting which will be held next Tuesday at 6:30 pm. At the same time, we will be holding our AGM which will include voting in the board for the 2020/2021 year. At the last meeting I was asked to send out an informational sheet that explains each job. I have included that here, so please take a moment and read through it to see if there is a position you would be interested in holding. I look forward to seeing you next week. Once again, we will send out the email link later this week that you can use for the meeting. Take care;   Debbie Flegg Chair, Forest Lawn High Achool
