Communication With Home
Student Agendas are the main form of communication between the school and the home for our Kindergarten to Grade 6
students. Students record important information, upcoming events, and homework assignments in their agendas. The teachers check the agenda on a regular basis and will write notes, as needed, to the parents.
We encourage all parents to use the agenda to communicate any minor concerns or questions to the teacher. When an issue is more serious in nature we ask that the parent refrain from using the agenda and make contact directly with the teacher. Each classroom also has a D2L (Desire to Learn) shell that provides additional information and homework supports for students and parents.
