Communication will mainly be in the form of Daily Agenda entries. Students will record events, news, and upcoming deadlines in their own Agenda books. Please sign their book daily to acknowledge that you have seen it.

What are we learning?

Google Classroom- Please check out your student's Google Classroom. We have a fun typing website as well as some digital books to start.

To sign in at home, their log in username is written on the front page of their agenda- please type @educbe.ca following. Their password is their first name (capitalized) followed by 12345. Example- Alex12345

Math- In December, we will continue to practice our adding and subtraction skills. We will also look at estimation skills when checking our answers.

English Language Arts- We will are continuing narrative writing. We are also starting to work on expository writing- when we want to write realistic information. Please continue to read with your student at home.

Social Studies-

Gr. 3 They are studying India.

Gr. 2 They are studying Acadia.

Science-

Gr. 2 Students will be investigating light and sound.

Gr. 3 Students will be investigating changes to the Earth's surface.

Art- In December we will continue to develop our drawing skills. We will start our painting unit- our first project will be on the Metis Giving Tree.

P.E. and Health- In P.E, we are working on soccer skills. In Health, we are looking at keeping healthy by movement, healthy eating habits and hygiene habits. We will also look at emotional regulation strategies using the zones of regulation model.
