Lunchtime

Glendale has an outstanding supervised lunch program which provides Grades 1-6 children with an opportunity to eat lunch and socialize with their friends at school and to also take part in various clubs and activities hosted during the lunch hour.

Please provide food items that do not require cooking or heating. Children can be enrolled in the Lunch Supervision program and pay on a monthly basis. Students bring their own lunches and are supervised by CBE lunchroom supervisors.

Students go outside after lunch for a supervised recess. Supervision is provided from 12:20 p.m.-12:55 p.m. For more information about our lunch program or to enroll your child in the Glendale Lunch Supervision Program, please contact our administrative secretary at 403-777-8330.

Allergies

Additionally, we have children at our school who are allergic to nuts and related nut products, we strive to be a Nut-Free School. Parents must indicate any special health concerns on the school registration for their child and are encouraged to ensure classroom teachers are also aware of health issues. For more information about this and other health concerns visit our Illness & Medical page.
