Nuestra Escuela/Our school budget has been received! We have worked hard to ensure it meets the needs and structures of our school. We are happy to share with you that our school budget is healthy based on new registrations and our current student count for the 2023/24 school year. As anticipated, our budget will allow us to hire two new teachers, given the increment in student numbers: one new grade 2 class and one grade 6 class. As an administrative team, we will share the school budget with staff today for their input and feedback, and next week we will do the same with our School Council.
Nuestros estudiantes/Our students love the Mexican artist in residence! We have had great feedback from parents and school volunteers regarding the artwork. Next week we will immerse in Semana de Espanol. We have great activities for students to continue the excitement and loving Spanish Language and Culture at our school.
