Weekly Update April 14th

Hello Lynx Families,

As I complete my second week at G.P. Vanier, I find myself becoming more familiar with the students and the staff here and it has been great to chat with the students in the cafeteria and hallways.

As we enter the Easter holiday week-end I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy Easter, Ramadan Kareem, and any other celebration you will have as we head into the long weekend. I hope that each of you have an opportunity to connect with friends and family over this school break.

Also, a reminder that there is no school on Friday or Monday. Return to school is on Tuesday April 19.  Teachers will be busy on Monday at various system professional development, furthering their knowledge and connecting with system leaders.

Finally, congratulations to all students who are on our Junior and Senior Badminton teams. It is exciting to see everyone participating in school sports, lunch hour intramurals and Clubs. We are also looking forward to our Track and Field try-outs to continue, once this snow has melted!

Bon week-end,

Chad Edmonds
