Students in the Calgary Board of Education travel to school in a variety of ways, including walking, taking yellow buses or Calgary Transit or being driven by parents/guardians. Their safety is important, no matter how they get to school and home again.

Getting to School

Bicycles / Skateboards

Students are encouraged to commute to school in a healthy way. For the safety of students, staff, and visitors, riding a bike, skateboard or longboard on school property is not permitted. Students riding bikes to school are to lock-up to one of the bike racks. Skateboards, roller blades, scooters and longboards must be stored in a safe manner. The school takes no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged property. Remember that wearing a helmet is the law and a significant support for safety.
