Lost and Found
We appreciate parent assistance in clearly identifying student clothing, footwear and personal property with labels or by other means. A Lost and Found area is maintained in the front hallway. Small items such as jewellery, glasses, or valuables are kept at the office. Unclaimed lost and found items will be sent to a charitable organization at the end of each of the school terms. [UPDATE] - Due to the vast amount of items that have been accumulating, unclaimed lost and found items will now be donated at the end of each month.
Bicycles, Scooters, Skateboards & Heelys
We certainly encourage active living practices with children such as riding a bicycle to school. Upon arrival at the school, and for the safety of all students, students are expected to walk/carry bicycles, scooters, and skateboards on school grounds during school hours. When bicycles are brought to school they should be locked in the bicycle rack provided.
The school cannot be responsible for bicycles damaged or stolen while they are at school. In addition, safety regulations require that skateboards, roller blades and Heelys not be used on school property.
Personal Electronic Devices
Our school has a Digital Citizenship plan and an Acceptable Use Policy that addresses the appropriate use of electronic devices at school. Students who disregard this policy will have that device confiscated and returned at the end of the day to either the student or his/her parent.
