​One way parents/guardians can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on our school’s parent society. Parent societies are a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. Our Parent Society is Known as the Friends of Hawkwood School Society

Meeting Dates/Schedule

Members of the Friends of Hawkwood School Society meet monthly on a Wednesday night (nine out of the ten school months) immediately after the School Council meetings, (6:30 pm) which are hosted in person in the school Learning Commons. Parents can also attend virtually via a Microsoft Teams link that is sent out through School Messenger the day of the meeting.
