Lunchtime

Lunch Supervison

A CBE program is offered to the students at Haysboro. Please contact the main office at 403-777-8530 for more information. Please visit our Lunch Supervision page for more information.

Clothing

Parents and students to please make sure you bring appropriate clothing to be outside at lunch recess.

Packing a Lunch

All lunchroom students are to bring a bagged lunch that also includes any cutlery that may be necessary to complete their meal. We do not provide microwaves for use by students. Please consider using a thermos if your child prefers his / her lunch hot.  We are asking all children to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer prior to eating.

We would request that parents call to advise if children registered in the program will not be staying for lunch. This can be done by either signing them out at the office or calling the school.

Fun Lunches and Snacks

Fun lunches: All students, K-6

Order through: www.healthyhunger.ca

Allergies

Many children have adverse reactions, including severe allergic reactions to different types of food. These reactions have implications for student health and for student learning.

To respect the health conditions of our entire student population, we ask that parents do not send food for other children. If teachers decide to use food in connection to teaching and learning, they will send a letter home requesting permission for your child to participate.
