While participation is voluntary, students are encouraged to participate, be active, meet new people, make new friends, and have fun.
Activities may include:
- Indoor Soccer
- Volleyball

- Special Events
*In addition to lunch time intramurals, students have the opportunity to borrow a variety of Sports Equipment from the PE office for use in our outdoor spaces at lunch.
Drop-in Sports
At H.D. Cartwright we also periodically provide ALL students with the opportunity to participate in Drop-in Sports. Drop-in Sports typically happen on mornings when there are breaks in the Athletic Calendar with no activities scheduled for the Gym. The gym is opened up for a designated sport for that morning before the start of school for any student wishing to participate as long as space is available. Occasionally there are Drop-in Sports offered after school as well depending on staff availability and student interest.
Drop in Sports schedule may include:
- Indoor Soccer
- Basketball
- Floor Hockey
- Volleyball
- Dodgeball
