Fees will be charged to your MyCBE account beginning in October. School fees are due when assigned.

Annual system fees are set each year when the operating budget is passed by the Board of Trustees. To keep fees as low as possible, the CBE is committed to being as efficient as possible in the provision of services. Costs of providing the services include direct labour and supplies, as well as the cost of fee waivers and uncollectible accounts.

It is important to know that we have a waiver process for families who cannot afford to pay the fees.

Our School Fees

School supply fees will be charged to parents in the amount of $20 for Kindergarten supplies and $40 for Grades 1 – 3 supplies. If we do activities/fieldtrips later in the school year, fees will be charged to parents. Students who are registered for Noon Supervision and/or Transportation will pay the following fees:

  • Lunch Supervision Fee pays for the supervision of children over the lunch hour (Grades 1 -3 only). You must register for this service at the beginning of the school year.
  • Transportation Fee. Students residing beyond the walk limit (1.6KM) are eligible for bus service. You must register for this service through your MyCBE/PowerSchool account.

Families who require financial assistance may qualify for a waiver. The waiver is available from the Calgary Board of Education. Waivers should be applied for as soon as possible as they are prorated based on the approval date. Waiver applications can be made online through your MyCBE/PowerSchool account.
