Highwood School at a Glance

Since Highwood School is a Mandarin Bilingual program of choice, all students are taught for half of the day by native English speaking teachers in English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Health. For the other half of the school day, students are taught by native Mandarin speaking teachers in Mandarin Language Arts, Math, and Science.

We believe that language learning is very closely intertwined with culture, therefore both Chinese and Canadian customs and traditions are celebrated and integrated into many aspects of learning.
