Attendance

It is important that you call the school if your child is going to be absent or arriving late. Please report all absences to the Attendance Line at 403-777-8490 ext. 1. See more on our Attendance page.

Office Hours

The main office is open Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
If you would like to reach a facilitator, teacher or administrator outside of these hours, please be sure to book an appointment in advance.

Class Schedule – Shared Responsibility Program

Students are welcome to come to school when the front doors open at 9:15 am.

A CBE Home Education School Council Initiative

Friday Activities provide an opportunity for CBE Home Education students to participate in a variety of learning activities with their peers. These activities may supplement the physical education and art goals in student home learning plans; however, they will not meet all home learning requirements or take the place of parent instruction. Activities are taught by
 CBE teachers.

Who | Any CBE Home Education parent directed or blended student is welcome to register!
What | Activities vary and are currently limited to ensure safety for students and staff..
When | Activities run from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm for 5 classes in the fall and winter semesters.
Where | All activities take place at Windsor Park school.
How | Pre-registration may be required. Class size is limited to 16 students. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please also be sure to provide us with a current copy of any custody agreements.​​

Concerns & Complaints

We know that the success of your student is dependent on a strong partnership between families and the CBE. If you have a concern, it can usually be addressed at the classroom level. Your first step is to arrange to speak privately with your child’s teacher. If you feel your issue is still unresolved, please contact your principal. If you and the school are unable to find a resolution, please see our Concerns & Complaints​ page for additional information, including the process to contact your Area Director. ​​​​
