We follow the CBE traditional calendar. The calendar sets common start and end days, non-instructional days and holidays. For our school’s additional non-instructional days, late entries, early dismissal days and events, see our school calendar page.​

Back to School Information

Please review the links below, these will provide useful information and answer any questions you may have about your first day of school, and our day-to-day expectations of students. 

First Day of Classes 

Tuesday, Sept. 7 for Monday-Tuesday students and Wednesday Sept. 8 for Wednesday-Thursday students.

The school office is open to parents on Monday, August. 30, 2021.                                                                               Please call 403-777-8490.

Registration

Please visit our How To Register Page for information on registration for 100% Parent-Directed CBE Home Education and for registration in our 50/50 Shared Responsibility Program.  For further assistance, contact Assistant Principal, Carrie Rowlandson at cerowlandson@cbe.ab.ca.

School Start & End Times (Monday To Thursday)

9:20-9:28 - Drop-Off

9:30-12:00 - Block One

12:00-12:45 - Lunch and Recess

12:45-3:15 - Block Two

School Supplies

School supply lists will be distributed by teachers on September 7 and 8, 2021 in class.

Noon Supervision

All students in grades 1-6 require lunchroom and recess supervision at a cost of $132.50 per student per year.  Grades 1-7 students must stay at Windsor Park School during the lunch break from 12:00-12:45 unless otherwise noted by parent/guardians.  Grade 8 and 9 students may leave campus at lunchtime with written permission from parent/guardians.

Do You Have a MyCBE/PowerSchool Parent/Guardian Account?

Please create a MyCBE / PowerSchool account to pay fees, apply for waivers, register for noon supervision, view student progress.  To create a new account, go to www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe and click on Create Parent Account. You will need to have your child's CBE Student ID Number and use your email on file at the school.

​​Fees and Waivers

School fees will be charged to families starting in October. Online fee payment is the simplest and most convenient way to pay school fees. Parents can use their online account to pay fees or apply for a waiver at: www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe.
