How do we tell the story of resilience? October 25th, 2020 Good morning to the Ian Bazalgette families. I hope this finds you enjoying a cozy Sunday morning. We have Parent / Teacher / Student conferences on Thursday from 1pm – 8pm and teachers are working in getting to know your child as a learner and will be able to communicate some assessment at that time with you. I sent out some information yesterday in relation to signing-up for that opportunity so you can connect with your child's teacher. These conferences will be done via a phone call at this time. If Thursday does not work for you please email / call your child's teacher to arrange another time to connect as we want parents to know this information is available all the time, not just during these conferences. We sent home on Tuesday IPP's for students that have that as part of the support for their learning at school. We would ask parents to ensure they send back an email indicating the IPP is good to go or send the IPP back with the edits and changes the parents would like to discuss further. We are also hoping to see parents attend our Parent Council meeting scheduled out for Tuesday. An email was sent out yesterday, if you have problems connecting in please send me an email and I will try and get you into the meeting. We also want to thank our students for making a great adjustment in regards to our lunch time routines as we made a switch this week. Our students continue to do an awesome job of respecting the expectations that we have put in place to mitigate the spread of COVID -19 and keep each other safer while enjoying their lunch break. Jamie-Dee and I would like to wish you all a very happy Sunday and thank – you for your support in the work we are taking up supporting your child in their learning. Stay well.
