Nationalism is examined in two streams covering the roots of nationalism, ultranationalism and the viability of nationalism. Some of the main areas of focus include: historical nationalism within Canada, WWI, WWII, the Holocaust, genocide and crimes against humanity, as well as responses to internationalism.
Formative (debates, projects etc.) and summative (tests and quizzes) assessments are used to evaluate student work through collaboration, cross-curricular and project based learning.
