Lost & Found

Articles of clothing or other items found around the school or playground are deposited in the Lost and Found box in the main foyer. Valuables and money are to be turned into the office. As many students do not claim their belongings, parents are asked to check the Lost and Found periodically to retrieve their children’s possessions. Unclaimed items are sent to a charity on a monthly basis. We request that all of your child’s belongings brought to school be clearly labeled (including footwear).

We also request that parents not allow their children to bring items of considerable monetary or personal value to school. Due to the conflicts they can create, the following specific items are not allowed at school: Pokémon cards and fidget spinners.

The CBE cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property.

Bicycles, Skateboards, Scooters, Rollerblades, Hockey and Lacrosse Sticks

For safety reasons, scooters, skateboards, roller blades, hockey and lacrosse sticks, crazy carpets and sleds are not
allowed at school as indicated on CBE posted signs.

Students are welcome to ride their bikes to school. We ask that they:

• Wear a safety helmet
• Lock their bike on the bike rack
• Walk bikes on school grounds and on sidewalks.
