The Career Centre is available for students to receive assistance with Career Planning, Employment Supports, and Volunteer Opportunities. Self-assessment tools are available to help students clarify their interests and aptitudes. Sessions are led to enhance Post-Secondary exploration and marketable skills such as resume writing, interviewing skills and job searching techniques.

Exploratory Trades Information Session

These are great exploratory programs open to students in G11 & G12 considering a career in the trades. The learning is hands on working with industry mentors and instructors. Many students go on to employment opportunities through these programs.

Thank you for signing up for the Exploratory Trades Information Session – everyone is welcome to attend. We will be sharing the Electrician, Mechanical Insulation and Pipe Trades programs and representatives from each of the programs will be present to answer any questions you may have.

University of Alberta

The University of Alberta is doing virtual recruitment this fall, and they have a whole suite of on line presentations and events for students. These events call all be accessed through uab.ca/recruitmentevents for students to sign up. The best contact information for students would be to email recruitmentevents@ualberta.ca with questions, and one of our recruiters will follow up with them directly. They may book one on one advising appointments through uab.ca/advising. All of their publications can be found online at ualberta.ca/publications.

Enrolment Counselling Appointments – Your students can always book a one-on-one virtual appointment with an enrolment counsellor, who can discuss program options and walk them through the admissions process.
