Lunchtime

Lunch Supervision

The Calgary Board of Education provides students with the option to stay at school for lunch. Lunch Supervision is offered to all students in Grades 1- 6 and in our full-day kindergarten programs for an annual fee. Please visit our Lunch Supervision page for information.

Allergies

At Ken Taylor School we are Allergy Aware. Student safety is our number one concern and, since we cannot guarantee the absence of all food allergens, we respond to the allergies present in each lunchroom and create a safe, welcoming environment for the students. Students eat in designated classrooms and have time to eat and get some fresh air and exercise before their classroom learning continues in the afternoon. Parents of students with medical concerns are required to complete the CBE forms and return them to the office prior to the first day of school.
