Regular School Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM (soft-entry is from 7:50 to 8:00 AM) 
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:10 PM  (soft-entry is from 7:50 to 8:00 AM) 


  • Grade 1-5 10:05 to 10:20 AM

Noon Hour     

  • Grade 1-2 12:15 PM to 12:55 PM
  • Grade 3-5 11:45 AM to 12:25 PM

Kindergarten Hours 

  • Morning 8:00 to 10:50 AM  (soft-entry is from 7:50 to 8:00 AM) 
  • Afternoon 11:40 AM to 2:30 PM (soft-entry is from 11:30 to 11:40 AM) 
  • Early Dismissal Days 8:00 AM to 12:10 PM Early Dismissal days vary for AM and PM Kindergarten.

It is critical that we have a current record of contact information on file so we can reach you or other emergency contacts. Please also be sure to provide us with a current copy of any custody agreements.​​

Concerns & Complaints

We know that the success of your student is dependent on a strong partnership between families and the CBE. If you have a concern, it can usually be addressed at the classroom level. Your first step is to arrange to speak privately with your child’s teacher. If you feel your issue is still unresolved, please contact your principal. If you and the school are unable to find a resolution, please see our Concerns & Complaints​ page for additional information, including the process to contact your Area Director. ​​​​

In February we celebrate Black History Month! It’s an opportunity to learn about and celebrate the contributions of Black Canadians in communities across the country. Activities and lessons are planned in CBE schools throughout the month. #WeAreCBE
