School Property

We take great pride in keeping a tidy school; both inside and out. We ask all our students to be good citizens by putting garbage and recycling where it belongs, and helping to keep our classrooms and playground clean.

Playground Rules & Expectations

Appropriate behavior and language are expected at all times on school property. Bicycles, scooters, skateboards and roller blades are not allowed on the playground.

Parents/caregivers may directly supervise their children in the playground after school. Otherwise students are expected to go directly home or to a caregiver’s home following school dismissal.

Students should not re-enter the building to use the phone or washroom, as school personnel are not available for supervision.

Playground Commitment at King George School

"We understand our own limits. We are patient and we take turns. We are peaceful with our words and we are gently with our actions. We are great problem solvers and smart equipment users." created by students June 2015

Use of School Equipment, Open Spaces & Play Areas

Students are expected to use school and recreational equipment appropriately. Students are expected to play safe games that will not potentially endanger themselves or others. Students are expected to respect the rights of participants in organized games and not to disrupt the activity.

Bicycles, scooters, skateboards and roller blades are not allowed on the playground. Parents/caregivers may directly supervise their children in the playground after school; otherwise, students are expected to go directly home or to a caregiver’s home following school dismissal.Students should not re-enter the building to use the phone or washroom, as school personnel are not available for supervision. Parents must wait outside in the Naturalization Area for student pick-up. Students need a note in the AGENDA if they do not take the bus. No note in the agenda = student will take the bus.
