Services and Supports 

School Nurse 

Alberta Health Services (A.H.S.) nurse typically visits our school for a portion of a morning each week. If you wish to consult with the nurse about health issues, please check with the office for her schedule. The nurse may also send home permission forms for scheduled immunizations such as Hepatitis B (Grade 5 level).

Occupational and Physical Therapists

Provide support to our teachers and students based on need in accordance with CBE and AHS guidelines.

Speech Therapist 

Generally, these services are provided by AHS. Children with speech and language difficulties may be referred to the Speech Therapist by the parent of the child and/or the classroom teacher. If home programming is recommended, the Speech Therapist will contact the parent to discuss the type of assistance required at home. If a student would benefit from additional assistance, the Speech Therapist may recommend courses available outside of the school.

Scheduled Recesses

Opportunities for outside play occur during the school day during lunchtime and the afternoon recesses.
