​One way parents/guardians can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on our school’s parent society. Parent societies are a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. More information can be found in our CBE Administrative Regulation 5001 – School Councils and School/Parent Societies.​​

Parent Society

Our Parent Society will be known as the Lakeshore School Fundraising Association.

The Lakeshore Scholl Fundraising Association plans to meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Meetings will take place in-person and follow the School Council meeting. Approximate start time is 6:30 PM.

Meeting Dates for 2022 are:

November 16, 2022
January 18, 2023
February 15, 2023
March 15, 2023
April 19, 2023
May 17, 2023 
June 21, 2023 (To be confirmed)

*** Note, that the Lakeshore School Fundraising Association was formed during the course of the 2022-2023 school year. Meeting notes leading up to formation may have been incorporated into the minutes for School Council. ***
