English Language Arts (ELA) is more than reading and writing. ELA involves:

  • Communicating effectively in various places for many different audiences and reasons
  • Selecting appropriate forms, structures and technology for a variety of contexts
  • Understanding, appreciating and creating a broad range of texts (including multi-media, visual, oral, and print)

RT @yyCBEdu: It’s International Women’s Day, a day to recognize the achievements and contributions of women and girls. Today we celebrate the successful women around us, reminding today’s youth and girls that their dream is within reach. #WeAreCBE https://t.co/lzkr4zoLdv

What a great day at Lakeshore! Today was our first whole school assembly and we managed to get everyone in the gym. We talked about the qualities of the bear and our students will select words for B.E.A.R which will represent the what matters most to us. #LakeshoreLoyal #WeAreCBE https://t.co/jZ5F0O4qgP
