Spring looks like it has arrived and the weather is becoming more and more warm and inviting.
April was a busy month which included many cultural celebrations and lots of learning in the classrooms.
With all of the changes taking place, we, at the school, are also working on our planning for next year (2022/23). Please help us by letting us know if you are planning on moving schools or changing programs so we can plan accordingly for our staffing and class configurations.
As we all hope and anticipate travel resuming in the summer, we want to remind you that school begins on September 1st, 2022. Please ensure that you return from all holidays prior to the start of school as it is a crucial time for both you and your children to become familiar with expectations and be ready to start the year successfully. In the extreme circumstance that you will not be at school for the first day of classes, you will need to discuss this absence with Mrs. Taylor. Students who have not attended school by September 2nd , and have not discussed the absence with Mrs. Taylor, will be removed from our school roster and your child's spot will be given to someone on the waitlist so please do everything possible to ensure you plan for the first day of classes – Sept 1. We appreciate your help with this process and look forward to another successful year at Le Roi Daniels.
May is a very busy month with many, many field trips in all grades happening. Please be sure to watch your calendar, regularly check your child's blog, and watch for permission forms that are coming home! If you are interested in volunteering for any of these events, please make sure you have completed your CBE Police Clearance ASAP, you can call the office to confirm if you do or do not already have clearance.
As always, we as an administrative team, strive to be responsive to the needs and concerns of all students and parents and encourage you to contact the school if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Andrea Taylor
Principal
