Fees will be charged to your MyCBE account starting in October.

Annual system fees are set each year when the operating budget is passed by the Board of Trustees. To keep fees as low as possible, the CBE is committed to being as efficient as possible in the provision of services. Costs of providing the services include direct labour and supplies, as well as the cost of fee waivers and uncollectible accounts.

It is important to know that we have a waiver process for families who cannot afford to pay the fees.

School-based and course specific fees may be charged by our school throughout the  year. You can find a complete list of the approved fees for your school on our Find My School Fees page.

Visit the CBE website for more information on fees and waivers.

Fees

International Baccalaureate Programme Fees

Families of IB students must pay the fees associated with the program. These include a registration fee and the cost of writing exams. Current fees for IB students in the CBE are:

Registration fee: $250 (paid once for a Diploma student; paid by Certificate/CP students in each year the student is writing IB exams)

Exam fee: $210 for each exam a student writes in Grades 11 and 12

  • Grade 10 PIB students at Pearson are asked to pay a $250 deposit as part of their school fees. This will go towards any IB fees owing in Grade 11 or 12.
  • Grade 11 and 12 IB Fees (Diploma Programme and Career-related Programme):

                 $250 Registration fee

$200 per IB Exam being written in that school year

As each student’s IB program and number of courses will vary, the total owing for each student will be reflected in the School Fees invoice sent to each family.  If you have any further questions regarding IB fees owed, please contact Mr Minhas.
