Graduation Requirements

The pathway to graduation will require students to be actively involved in the planning process for course selections and credits earned. Your Connect Teacher and staff in Student Services are helpful resources as you consider choices in your journey to complete high school and as you prepare for apprenticeships, the world of work and post-secondary education.
In order for students to graduate they must meet the minimum Alberta Education Graduation Requirements for a High School Diploma or the Certificate of School Completion for students in the Knowledge and Employability Program. This will also apply for students to be eligible to participate in Pearson’s Graduation Exercises. If you do not qualify at the end for 3 years to earn a high school diploma or certificate of completion, you will also not qualify to participate in graduation exercises.
