Rugby

There are no try outs. There are no cuts. When you sign up to play Rugby, you join a family.

LBHS is fiercely proud to offer students the opportunity to play and grow through rugby. Whatever your size or shape, whatever your ability, whether or not you’ve ever held a ball; there is a spot for you on our squad. Coached by certified world rugby coaches and former LBHS players, the tight-knit rugby family at Lord Beaverbrook will teach students valuable skills that they can take from the field, where they will be able to tackle any problem head on.

LBHS takes part in several rugby tournaments across Southern Alberta. The season lasts from early March to late May/early June.
