In LINKages we build school pride by connecting generations and building relationships with seniors within our community. Once students complete training, they are partnered with a senior. Each week we have the opportunity to build intergenerational relationships through conversations, games and special events.

LBHS students and their senior friends shared some holiday cheer during our most recent LINKages visit at the Southwood Care Centre. We made Christmas cards, shared holiday memories, played games and even had an old-fashioned carol sing. The happiness was palpable and smiles reflected complete joy.  We are excited to see what this year holds in store for the LINKages students and their senior friends.
