Business Studies (Introductory)

This course focuses on the management, marketing, and use of electronic technologies to access, use and manipulate information within personal, family, workplace, community, and global contexts. This course challenges students to expand their confidence, experience, and skills as innovators and leaders.

Business Studies (Intermediate & Advanced)

Business courses at the higher levels focus on entrepreneurship, marketing, merchandising and business management. Students will apply their knowledge of marketing to plan, develop and manage a business in school or the local market. Through this venture, they should expect to assume roles and responsibilities of management in order to coordinate available resources and run the business. At the Advanced level students will expand their knowledge and have the opportunity to get duo-credits through a partnership with SAIT and Junior Achievements. Advanced Business is a demanding course that requires students to attend SAIT for on-campus instruction throughout the semester.
