Attendance

It is important that you call the school if your child is going to be absent or arriving late. Please report all absences to the Attendance Line at 403-777-7630. See more on our Attendance page.

  • Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Monday – Thursday

  • 9:00 to 3:25
  • Lunch from 12:00 – 12:30
  • Four Classes 9:00, 10:30, 12:30, 3:25

Friday

  • 9:00 – 2:05
  • Lunch from 11:15 -11:50
  • Two Classes 9:00, 11:50

Students are expected to be in their classrooms prepared to work at the bell. Students will be marked late unless prior arrangements have been made with their teacher. Remember, absents and tardiness may have an affect on funding.
Teachers will be available for individual support. Check with the teacher for their tutorial times.

We know that the success of your student is dependent on a strong partnership between families and the CBE. If you have a concern, it can usually be addressed at the classroom level. Your first step is to arrange to speak privately with your child’s teacher. If you feel your issue is still unresolved, please contact your principal. If you and the school are unable to find a resolution, please see our Concerns & Complaints​ page for additional information, including the process to contact your Area Director. ​​​​
