Smoking Policy

Smoking, either cigarettes or e-cigarettes, is not encouraged at Louise Dean School. Research confirms that both direct and second hand smoke can be harmful to the developing fetus and baby.

Students choosing to smoke MUST smoke in the designated areas and not in the community around the school. It is the responsibility of the students to keep this area clean. Please use the cigarette disposal container to keep the area clean and avoid any grass fires.

Smoking is restricted to before school and at lunch time in the designated area. There is insufficient time between classes to have a cigarette.
