Graduation

Graduation

Graduation usually occurs during the last week of June when exams are completed. Only those students who have met Alberta Education High School Diploma/Certificate requirements are eligible to walk the stage. This means that all assignments and diploma exams must be completed before graduation. Students must have “active status” and good attendance to participate in graduation ceremonies. All graduates are required to attend graduation meetings and all are invited to participate in planning the event.

Ceremony / Banquet

Participation in Graduation Ceremonies requires students to:

  • Have earned the required credits and courses to meet the Alberta Education requirements for a High School Diploma or Certificate of High School Achievement
  • Be a student in good standing according to the school' code of conduct

Individual cases will be considered on their own merits.
