Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Program

The Calgary Board of Education is committed to advancing learning for all students. In endeavouring to realize this vision for students with extremely high intellectual capacity, the CBE provides an array of school experiences. Research demonstrates that a congregated school setting like the GATE Program may benefit some gifted learners.

  • The Calgary GATE Parent Association maintains a website of information of interest to parents of gifted children, including upcoming events, parent education sessions, reference articles, volunteer opportunities, links to websites of interest, contact information for the Association and for a subscription to the GATE Parent Association email list.
