Parking Lot Hug n' Go
Mahogany School has a designated "Drop and Go" loop surrounding our staff parking lot. Please note that this convenience is intended for families to drop your student off and then continue on your way - this area is NOT to be used for parking, please find an alternate parking space if you will be leaving your car. Mahogany Staff parking lot is not available for any parent parking.
Please be mindful of our surrounding neighbours for parking during drop off and be careful when crossing with students only using designated crossing areas.
When driving or walking students to school, parents are urged to remind their children to enter via their designated doors. The same procedure exists for pick up at dismissal times.
Please do not feel the need to drop your child off directly at the front of the school unless your child is a Kindergarten student or your child is arriving outside of our regular entry times.
During regular weather days, we ask that parents consider having their students walk, bike, scooter, or skateboard to school. Avoiding traffic congestion goes a long way to avoiding congestion. If parents are biking to school with their child, please be aware that adults are also expected to follow our school rules of “walking the wheels” while on school property. This sets the right example for our students who know and follow this expectation.
