Attendance Line: 403-777-6280 ext.1

As we continue to develop school procedures that will ensure student safety, it is a school expectation that parents and guardians will notify the school whenever a child is late or absent. Please call our absence line and leave your recorded message. Do not leave a message on the teacher’s voicemail. If your child is absent and there is no message on our Absence Line, we will be contacting you at the numbers listed on your child’s Demographic Report. The Absence Line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

It is important that students develop the habit of arriving on time for school. This ensures that students begin the day calmly, hear the morning announcements and do not disrupt the learning process for others. If students arrive late they must report to the office to check in and collect a late-slip. Lates will be listed on your child’s report card.

Attendance Expectations at the CBE

We believe there is a strong correlation between attendance and effective education. The CBE Administrative Regulation 6020 - Attendance of Students regulation applies to all of our students, and outlines the responsibilities for students, parents and school staff.
