Before and After School Care

We have three private organizations who provide childcare for our kindergarten students. We have provided information below for your convenience.

1. Briar Hill Children's Programs @ Marion Carson School

2. Pre-Kindergarten Ed. - Kindergarten Enhancement 

Kindergarten Enhancement is an on-site private program operating in a classroom within Marion Carson School. They provide programming Monday to Friday when a child is not in their regular Kindergarten class. Kindergarten students have the option to attend either part time Kindergarten Enhancement to include all regular school operating hours, or full time Kindergarten Enhancement which includes Out of School Care early morning hours and up to 6:00 p.m. Offers 2 different program types for Kindergarten students:

 1. "Part Time" Kindergarten Enhancement.  This program will provide care for students during "regular school hours" (9:10am - 3:50pm) when they are not attending Kindergarten.

Part Time Kindergarten Enhancement M/W + Select Fridays:

For children in Group B Kindergarten

9:05am – 3:40pm 

Part Time Kindergarten Enhancement T/TH + Select Fridays:

For children in Group A Kindergarten

9:05am – 3:40pm

Part Time Kindergarten Enhancement M – TH afternoons + Select Fridays:

For children in Community Kindergarten

12:00pm – 3:40pm + lunch hour care

2. "Full Time" Kindergarten Enhancement.  This program will provide care for students during regular school hours, as well as before and after school hours.  Essentially, this means the child will have care from 7:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday.

Full Time Kindergarten Enhancement:

For children in any of the Kindergarten groups

Full day of care around the hours of your child’s Kindergarten class

7:00am – 6:00pm                   

*The Full Time Kindergarten Enhancement Program includes care on PD Days from 7:30am - 5:30pm.  The Part Time Kindergarten Enhancement program does not include care on PD Days.

In order to best serve the needs of the community and Marion Carson School, we will not be offering Pre-K so that we can provide Kindergarten Enhancement care to more children.  Please contact us about other Pre-K options.
