Classes & Departments

In the past teachers have used a number of tools to communicate with parents regularly. Until recently we have been using teacher blogs to post important information and dates, as well as pictures of what students have been working on. After review of the blogging process and taking into account the very limited number of views of the blogs we have decided to use a different tool which is also the preferred method of communication by the Calgary Board of Education.

School messenger will now be the most frequently used form of communication between the school and home.  Teachers will regularly provide updates on their classroom activities as well as important notices and any other information that may be pertinent to parents. The messages will typically happen once per week but will occasionally be more often. Messages from teachers will be in the form of an email, notices from the office may be an email or text message as long as parents have not blocked the school's number.
