Homework
Students should have a place to do homework that is quiet and free from distractions. A set time for study at home helps students make homework a part of their daily routine.
Homework consists of completion of work not finished in class and work on projects that are to be completed over a set amount of time, as well, daily home reading is encouraged. Educational research supports daily home reading as the most important homework that students can do with additional assignments as required.
We strongly recommend that all students have a public library card and that they visit the public library regularly.
If you find that your child has a large amount of homework or is having difficulty completing assignments please contact your child’s teacher as soon as possible.
