Telephones & Messages

The telephones in our school are used for conducting school business. We discourage the students from using the telephone unless it is urgent and a staff member has given permission. Similarly, all parent phone calls to children in class should be for emergency use only. Arrangements for pick-up from school and the organization of play dates should be done in advance with your child. Please ensure that your child has been given after school instructions before they leave for school. 

Calls & Drop-Ins

Teachers do not take telephone calls or drop-in visits during class time. At this time teachers’ energy and attention needs to be on a classroom of students. Please feel welcome to book an appointment for a more convenient time.

Please notify the school office immediately with any changes of address, telephone numbers (home, business and/or cell), email address or emergency contact numbers. It is critical that we have a current record of contact information on file so we can reach you or other emergency contacts. Please also be sure to provide us with a current copy of any custody agreements.​​

Concerns & Complaints

We know that the success of your student is dependent on a strong partnership between families and the CBE. If you have a concern, it can usually be addressed at the classroom level. Your first step is to arrange to speak privately with your child’s teacher. If you feel your issue is still unresolved, please contact your principal. If you and the school are unable to find a resolution, please see our Concerns & Complaints​ page for additional information, including the process to contact your Area Director. ​​​​
