​​​Parent-teacher conferences are an opportunity to engage in conversation about your child’s learning. Parents/guardians and teachers are able to connect face-to-face and communicate openly about student learning, especially with respect to areas of strength and areas of growth. They help build and sustain respectful relationships that allow both parties to share information and develop strategies to support student success.​​​

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Conference and Reporting Dates

There are three rounds of conferences during the school year.  Please see below for the dates, times, and other applicable information for each round:

September 2020

  • Kindergarten: Parent/Teacher conferences Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 8:00 am-12:00 pm and 4:00 pm-8:00 pm (no kindergarten classes)
  • Grades 1-4: Parent/Teacher conferences Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 4:00-8:00 pm 
  • Parent/Teacher conferences for all grades Friday, September 25, 2020 from 8:00 am-1:00 pm.  

Please note:  Thursday, September 24 will be an early dismissal day. School hours will be 8:00 am-12:00 pm.  There is no school for Kindergarten students. There is no school for all students on Friday, September 25 due to conferences.

December 2020

  • Kindergarten: Parent/Teacher conferences Thursday, December 3, 2020, from 8:00 am-12:00 pm and 4:00 pm-8:00 pm (no kindergarten classes)
  • Grades 1-4: Parent/Teacher conferences Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 4:00-8:00 pm 
  • Parent/Teacher conferences for all grades Friday, December 4, 2020 from 8:00 am-1:00 pm.  

Please note:  Thursday, December 3 will be an early dismissal day. School hours will be 8:00 am-12:00 pm.There is no school for Kindergarten students. There is no school for all students on Friday, December 4 due to conferences. 


February 2021

  • Report cards will be available to Parents and Guardians on their CBE Account over the week of February 1st.


March 2021 

  • Kindergarten: Parent/Teacher conferences Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 8:00 am-12:00 pm and 4:00 pm-8:00 pm (no kindergarten classes)
  • Grades 1-4: Parent/Teacher conferences Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 pm 
  • Parent/Teacher conferences for all grades Friday, March 12, 2021 from 8:00 am-1:00 pm.  

Please note:  Thursday, March 11 will be an early dismissal day. School hours will be 8:00 am-12:00 pm.  There is no school for Kindergarten students. There is no school for all students on Friday, March 125 due to conferences.


June 2021

  • Final Report cards will be available to Parents and Guardians on their CBE Account the last week of June.

Please note June 28 is the LAST day of class for kindergarten students

​How to Book a School Conference

  1. Log-in to MyCBE​.

    If you do not have an account, follow the Create a MyCBE Account​ instructions.

  2. Click on the My School Conferences icon.

  3. Click on the time slot that is available and convenient for you. Ensure pop-up windows are allowed.

  4. In the pop-up window, you will choose your child (you have the option to enter the student's name), the name of the parent / guardian is pre-filled, but can also be changed.​​​​​​​​

​​​Create a MyCBE Account

  1. Go to www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe and click on the “Create Parent Account” link.

    Important: the email that you are using to create your account must be the same one you have provided to the school. If you are unsure, please contact the school office.

  2. Once you have created an account, you will receive a confirmation email. 

  3. After your account is confirmed, you can login to the system.​
