Noon Supervision Line: 403-777-8680

If your child is registered for Noon Supervision and will be away during the noon hour, please advise us by leaving a voicemail.

Lunch Schedule

All students will be eating at the same time this year. Students in Grades 2-6 will eat lunch in their own classrooms, while students in the Grade 1 Regular Program will eat at tables set up on the stage. All students will be given from 11:30 – 11:52 to eat and then everyone will head outside for some fresh air and exercise until 12:15 PM.

Leaving School Grounds During the Lunch Hour

For students registered in the lunch program, leaving the school or the playground at noon is not permissible. We are responsible for providing a safe, supervised environment for all our lunch-room students over the entire lunch period. Daily attendance and adult supervision are critical components of this commitment. Hence, our policy is that students registered in our lunch program will not be allowed to leave the school grounds without the supervision of an adult.

If you are taking your child off school premises during the lunch hour, the parent/guardian is responsible for physically signing out their student in the school office. Phone-in authorizations are not acceptable. Students cannot be signed out by anyone who is not on the student’s Emergency Contact List and even then we must have a parent/guardian’s consent.  Our most important responsibility is the safety and security of your children.

In Our Lunchroom

Please remember to include cutlery with your child’s lunch as this is not provided at school. There is no access to microwaves for students. Due to safety concerns, hot water is not available for student lunches.
