Student Supervision

Student supervision begins at 7:45 AM. Students should not arrive prior to that time. Once students have been dismissed for the day, they are expected to move off the grounds and be on their way home.

School Supply Lists

School supplies are ordered by the teachers and distributed to students throughout the school year. Students are not required to purchase any school supplies. However, CBE adds the School Supply fee to parents' MyCBE/PowerSchool accounts for online payment. A pair of comfortable indoor shoes would be beneficial, as well as a sturdy, child-friendly backpack.

School Calendar

We are a school that follows the CBE traditional calendar. View our School Calendar for upcoming events and dates.

Lunch Supervision

Midnapore School offers a 4-day Lunch Supervision program to all students as a user-pay service. All students staying for lunch must be registered. Parents can log into their MyCBE account to register and pay lunch supervision fees or to apply for a waiver. Please visit our Lunch Supervision page for more details.

Registration Information

Please visit our How to Register page for all registration details and forms. All registrations are submitted online.

Fees and Waivers

School fees will be charged to families starting in October. Online fee payment is the simplest and most convenient way to pay school fees. Parents can use their online account to pay fees or apply for a waiver at: www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe.

You can find more information on the CBE school fees and waivers page.

Yellow School Bus Transportation

Yellow school bus routes for the 2022-23 school year are created over the summer and based on the addresses submitted before the pre-registration deadline in June. Transportation continues to accept registrations after the deadline; however, students are added to the closest existing stop with available space. Processing times could be up to six weeks at the beginning of the school year due to volume.

More information about 2022-23 transportation service levels and proposed fees are posted on the CBE website.

Your bus stop location and time will be available in your MyCBE account by mid-August.

Conditional riders can also register using MyCBE. Applications will be considered after eligible riders registrations have been processed.

Learn more about transportation on the CBE website.
