Student Recognition

The student recognition philosophy at MidSun supports a broad range of awards for achievement, excellence, participation and improvement. We believe that our school must offer a balance of curricular and extra-curricular programs so all students have an opportunity to be successful and to receive recognition. The recognition program at MidSun is not intended for only a few students.

Over the course of the year hundreds of students will receive acknowledgment for their efforts during the ‘Celebration of Learning assemblies’, Laker of the Month award and other special events. We believe our program is a motivator and an incentive for many and that it is important in a ‘school of character’. Our staff is continuing to work on developing our recognition program to best meet the needs of our students.
