Congratulations to all of our award winners at the Spring Concert on May 25th! Everyone performed
beautifully and played well at the concert. It has been a wonderful year and we look forward to performing again next year for all of you.

Thank you to the Jazz Band for an incredible performance at Heritage Park on May 27th! The patrons were very excited to have live music while they waited to enter for the Festival of Quilts.

Congratulations to all of our door prize winners at the Spring Concert and a huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated the amazing door prizes.

Year end is fast approaching and we are now winding down. We are in the process of cleaning and collecting all instruments for next year. All loaned materials/instruments are due back Monday, June 5 in the band room. This includes 2nd instruments if you took one home and music binders and books.

Instruments are available for rent over the summer for personal use and for the Calgary Regional Summer Band Workshop. Forms are available from the band office and the cost is $30.

Aug 21 – 25, 2023: There is a fantastic music workshop for students looking to spend a fun filled week at Beaverbrook High School with like-minded musicians and fabulous band directors. The workshop provides outstanding opportunities to work with professional musicians, learn a new instrument and meet new friends.

Students interested in attending the Calgary Regional Summer Band Workshop can pick up information from the band office including Scholarships Applications. There is a full scholarship available for students who wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend camp and other scholarships of $100. Please visit the band office for information. Applications are due June 15.

There is an early bird enrolment date of June 23rd, however registration for will continue until Aug 20. For registration and information please go to www.calgaryregionalsbw.com.
